Hi Craig,

This is somewhat complicated. The chip reader is a separate device and when the printer holds the job until cards ar fed into the hopper, the read most likely times out. The printer driver cannot handle encoding errors, so it is hard for CardExchange to synchronize all possible events.

Hi Rutger,

I have finished our testing and it looks like the Autoprint does actually continue printing.
You get the pop-up in CardExchange to show the error that is generated from the print server but the autoprint does continue printing to the other printers.
You get a popup for each print server that generates an error.

When you ok the error message popup the print server is then used again for print jobs.

As you said any job that has an error is not automatically re-printed until the autoprint is restarted.

So I think it all works kind of as expected, it just would be nice to add some options for the error handling (a bit like in CE itself where you can choose to reprint/skip etc...) so that the user can decide how they want to proceed.

If you could keep this in mind for any future updates that would be great, although I understand that it is not a high priority.
