schema.ini data types #6043
Final tweaking writing records to a csv file - I need to write characters without quotes into one column/field in a delimited csv file. My schema.ini file currently looks like:

[cardexchange.csv]
Format=CSVDelimited
Characterset=ANSI
ColNameHeader=False
DateTimeFormat=MM-DD-YYYY
Col1=SerialNumber Text
Col2=ActivationDate Date
Col3=ExpiryDate Date
Col4=Firstname Text
Col5=Surname Text
Col6=CardPan Text
Col7=CardType Text

All the text fields are written to the csv file contained in quotes which is OK for all the fields except the last one (Col7= CardType) which I need written to the csv file as alphabetic characters without quotes. Is there a data type (instead of Text) I can use that will allow this?

Thanks
David

Hi David,

Can you try adding TextDelimiter="none" to the Scheme.ini file ?
You probably need this under the ColNameHeader entry.
