DatabaseReadException CE9 Crashes at startup. #6696
Hi.
My installation of CE Producer 9 crashes after it starts up.
It Opens the application, then gives me a DatabaseReadException as per the attached image CE1
I've tried to run a repair of the installation, but obviously that didn't work.

How do I get past this error please?
What do I need to remove/rename?

Hi Trevor,

When you say it crashes, does it close completely, or can you go to configuration and click on database setup still?

It sounds like there is an issue with the setup of the database connection, so if you can get into the database setup we cna check the selected database and primary key etc...

Also after you get the error, can you browse to the data folder and send me a copy of the dataexchange.log file?

It crashes and closes down Craig. I know if I rename the folder and start up it will create a new folder and start up, but of course all my old data is missing.
