We have been using CSV files as our database for the last few years without any problems. We have now "modified" the field data and some columns are no longer visible in Card Exchange. The data affected appears to be the serial number columns which now contains alphanumeric characters in addition the numeric characters. Any column with eg A001-A123 is not affected but columns with eg 10023 and hk1256 are not visible. From Excel the data is visible and the numeric fields are right formatted with the alphanumeric left formatted. A workaround to this was to use Excel to format the whole file *csv file as 'text' and save as an *.xlsw file. This has proved successful.
Is there any way to not have to use this workaround and still use the *csv file?
